LIST: Most anticipated album releases of 2021

The year 2021 has an interesting line-up of album releases that's sure to excite fans of different music genres out there.

From comeback music from K-Pop idols and rock bands that we've missed so much to new R&B, rap, pop, and baroque pop/rock music, name it, there's a new album for everyone to look forward to.

So, without further ado, below is GMA Lifestyle's list of the most anticipated album releases of 2021.

Zayn Malik - Nobody's Listening

Zayn Malik's third album titled 'Nobody's Listening' is set to drop on January 15. It includes his latest singles such as 'Better' and 'Vibez.'

Foo Fighters - Medicine at Midnight

The iconic American rock band Foo Fighters is scheduled to release their tenth studio album 'Medicine at Midnight' on February 5. Its original release date was in 2020 but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes songs such as “Shame Shame” and “No Son of Mine.”

Sia - Music - Songs From and Inspired by The Motion Picture

Singer-songwriter Sia will make her directorial debut this year with the musical drama film 'Music,' which she co-wrote the screenplay of. Its soundtrack titled 'Music - Songs From and Inspired by The Motion Picture' contains 10 songs, including “Hey Boy, “Courage to Change,” and “Together,” whose music video stars Kate Hudson and Maddie Ziegler. Both the movie and the album will be released on February 12.

K-Pop group SHINee had just confirmed that they will be releasing new music this February. The group's comeback album arrives after almost three years since the release of their last album 'The Story of Light: Epilogue.' in 2018. No exact release date and title album have been announced yet, but we're sure to find out very soon.

Kings of Leon - When You See Yourself

American rock band Kings of Leon will drop their eighth studio album on March 5 titled 'When You See Yourself.' It has 11 tracks including 'the Bandit' and '100,00 People,' and was produced by Markus Dravs of Coldplay. The new album comes four years after the release of their chart-topping album 'Walls.'

Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over the Country Club

On March 19, the queen of Hollywood sadcore, Lana Del Rey will be dropping her highly anticipated seventh studio album titled 'Chemtrails Over the Country Club.' She just released the music video for the title track on January 11. The new album also includes the song 'Let Me Love You Like A Woman,' which she recently performed at 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'

Evanescence - The Bitter Truth

Lead vocalist Amy Lee and the rest of Evanescence is set to make their comeback this year with the release of their fifth studio album 'The Bitter Truth' on March 26. It includes singles such as 'Wasted on You,' 'The Game is Over,' 'Use My Voice,' and 'Yeah Right.'

Rose and Lisa of Blackpink

Blackpink members Rose and Lisa are reportedly going to release each of their solo albums this year. Not many details have been revealed yet, but the news of solo music from Rose and Lisa is definitely enough to get Blinks out there excited.
