Samantha Panlilio organizes closet cleanup for the benefit of Typhoon Odette victims

Miss Grand International Philippines Samantha Panlilio is doing her part to help the victims still recovering from the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.

On her Instagram account, the beauty queen announced that she would be doing a closet cleanup over the weekend and will be donating the clothes to families in Siargao and Cebu. She also called on other people interested to help to contact her so that she can consolidate the donations before sending them.

Samantha joins the list of beauty queens that have been working tirelessly to bring attention to the plight of the victims of Typhoon Odette. Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez has gone on a couple of relief missions to help the victims of Typhoon Odette. She has conducted relief operations in Compostela, Cebu and another in Mantuyog, Mandaue.

Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez, who recently came back from an Instagram hiatus, posted about the Miss World Philippines Organization's relief efforts before going on her social media break.


The Miss Universe Philippines Organization has also pledged to match any donations made through the remittance app, Sendwave.
