Miss Tourism World Philippines Justine Felizarta departs for pageant

By Ron Lim

Miss Tourism World Philippines Justine Felizarta is off to Vietnam as she is set to spend a little over two weeks to compete in the Miss Tourism World pageant set to happen on December 3, 2022.

ALV Pageant Circle posted a photo of Justine before her departure on its Instagram account, along with a caption that wished her luck and assuring her that the whole country is behind her as she aims to bring home the country's third Miss Tourism World crown.

Justine is just one of the beauty queens set to compete in an international pageant in the coming weeks. Just in the past week, Miss International Philippines Hannah Arnold received a couple of send-offs, such as the one form the Binibining Pilipinas organization. Hannah posted about the send-off on her own Instagram account, calling it “a dream come true.”

She was also given a “beautiful and heartwarming” send-off by the Department of Science and Technology, with her promising that she would raise the flag not only of the country but science and technology as well.

Hannah will be competing for the Miss International crown this December 13, hoping to give the country its fourth Miss International crown after Precious Lara Quigaman, Bea Santiago, and Kylie Verzosa.

Herlene Budol would have also competed in an international beauty pageant this month, but had to withdraw due to “uncertainties by organizers.”

The Binibining Pilipinas organization had previously called on pageant fans and followers to support Herlene's Miss Planet International bid with a supportive Instagram post.

The Miss International and Miss Tourism World crowns are some of the remaining titles that the country can compete for, after the Binibining Pilipinas organization recently announced that they would be withdrawing from the Miss Grand International pageant.
