Kristel Fulgar finally addressed questions why she refused to answer her Korean suitor's proposal to be his girlfriend.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com. the celebrity vlogger explained she wanted to wait for the right time, following her strong beliefs and principles relating to her faith.

"Hindi ko pa kasi siya pwede talagang masabi na boyfriend ko kahit pwede ko na sabihin na gusto ko talaga yung tao kasi hindi pa siya member ng church ko. Kasi INC [Iglesia ni Cristo] ako. Kailangan sa church namin same religion. Kaya sabi ko, 'Hindi ko muna ia-announce hangga't wala akong clarification or wala akong parang assurance na willing siya to join my church'," she said.

Kristel also added that she ought to do things right based on her faith and her church's practices, despite sharing mutual feelings with her Korean suitor.

"Sinabi ko rin sa vlog ko na gusto ko naman siya. Pero hindi talaga kasi I need to stick to my beliefs and principles, na kailangan super legal na and legal din sa church.
