Benjamin Alves and GF Chelsea Robato get cheesy on their anniversary

Actor-model Benjamin Alves and his non-showbiz girlfriend Chelsea Robato celebrated their anniversary last week.

To mark the special occasion they penned a heartfelt message for each other on Instagram.

On her post, Chelsea thanked Ben for being a “good man” to her and everyone else.

She said, “Happy first anniversary @benxalves Thank you for the last 365 days of kulit and kilig times.

"Thank you for the silly moments that make me laugh and cringe, and the serious moments that you are there to hold my hand.

“Thank you for being a good man to everyone, and to me. Thank you for making me so happy.... I'm looking forward to many more memories with you. I love you.”

On the other hand, Benjamin shared a short but sweet message for Chelsea. He said, “Thank you for sticking around. Happy anniversary, @chelseamaey. I love you.”

In an exclusive interview of GMANetwork.com with the Kapuso actor in 2019, he said that he wants to keep his relationship private with Chelsea.

Ben told GMANetwork.com, “Especially if the person isn't showbiz as well. That's why I'm very protective of that because the person that I'm with isn't from showbiz.

"And again hindi naman kami nagtatago sa social media. We're there, commenting on each other's photos. There's nothing to hide, there's nothing to be ashamed of.

“Whatever feels right for us, you know, we share. Other than I don't want to go further like how long have we been.

"The details are for us na lang. I think it's nice for people to see the journey, to see how it is now. That'd be fine. If you ask me if I'm happy with her, yeah, I'm extremely happy. Let's leave it at that."
