Mavy Legaspi clarifies all his actions for Kyline Alcantara are genuine

With several netizens who commented before that Zero Kilometers Away stars Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara being “special friends” for each other was just for show, the young actor clarified that all the sweet gestures he made for the actress have been genuine.

In his interview on the “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast, Mavy said that he is usually unbothered by such comments. However, since the comments became too personal, he admitted to feeling affected by them “for the first time” so he decided to clear things up.

“For the first time, na-affect din ako doon in a little way kasi alam ko genuine at totoo 'yong ginagawa ko para kay Kyline,” Mavy said.

He added, “It just so happens we live in a world where social media is so big na. Lahat ng aksyon nabobroadcast sa social media or may mga stolen shots bla bla bla...na people can twist around.”

However, the young Sparkle artist reiterated that all the gestures he made for Kyline came from his heart, such as showing her gratitude and appreciation. Mavy just learned to brush the harsh comments aside, because he knows that the only comments and feelings that matter are Kyline's.

“Of course, it took its toll, but at the end of the day it's her reaction and it's the way she appreciates my gesture that just turns everything around. What's important to me is I see her smile on her face, so sapat na 'yon sa akin,” he added.

Asked about the real score between them, though, Mavy answered, “The real score is 99, the 1 is for you to find out. It's for us to know and for you to find out.”

Mavy admitted though that their relationship ”on [his] end, definitely, lume-level up talaga.”

Kyline added, “It elevated, of course, but with boundaries pa rin ganyan, siyempre may rules 'yung parents niya, may rules din naman parents ko so we need to follow.”
