Being holed in the house for too long can undeniably make anyone a wanderlust. So if you plan to travel once ECQ is lifted, then head to Bolinao, Pangasinan for a different kind of adventure.
Biyahe Ni Drew embarked on a weekend summer adventure trip in this town dubbed as the “Hidden Jewel of the North." The biyaherong team was able to visit some of its best destinations from land to even underwater!
Here are some things you can do in these destinations:
Beach View
The Sundowners Vacation Villas is a Santorini-inspired resort in Bolinao that boasts a stunning beach view. As Drew Arellano describes it, “I think one of their strong selling points is the view, and it's white. Perfect for a really really big group, big family.”
On the other hand, if you desire to get more intimate with nature, Birdland Beach Club in Long Beach Street will best suit your taste.
“We're the newest kid in the block,” said the owner Michael Parayno. “We're practically an eco-resort, we run on solar and windmill.”

For all the thrill-seekers out there, you can jump in the refreshing waters of all three Bolinao Falls with or without a life jacket.
According to the biyaherong host, “Magkakalapit lang ang mga talon dito sa Bolinao, kaya mapupuntahan ninyo lahat ito sa loob ng kalahating araw.”
Into the Caves
Do you prefer a quiet and secluded kind of swimming experience? Then the Wonderful Cave and the Enchanted Cave located in Patar Road are for you!
Drew described both caves as crystal clear. He said, “Dahil sa linaw ng tubig, dinaragsa ang kwebang ito tuwing weekend, lalo na tuwing tag-init.”
Salt Sculpture
The Pacific Farms Inc. located in Tambac Bay, Brgy. Zaragosa offers a unique sightseeing experience with its salt sculptures made by its own farmers.
“What we've done so far is open up the creativity for the salt farmers. It becomes interesting for people to visit not just to see all the salt being made but what else can be made with salt, right?” said operations manager Gerard Khonghun.
Sunsets in Bolinao
“Para sa akin, ito ang pinakapanalong maiuuwi ninyo, ang mga winner na alaala,” Drew guarantees as he marvels the magnificent sunset in Bolinao.
He even noted that if you have a few spare hours to spend in Bolinao, getting a glimpse of the sunset should be in your priorities.

As Drew said, “Ilang beses na kitang napuntahan, napa-wow mo pa rin ako Bolinao.”
