What is the reason behind Kim Domingo's short hairdo?

Some members of the press were curious after seeing Kim Domingo with a bob cut while at the Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko media conference.

Is her recent breakup with long-time boyfriend Michael "Mike" Acuña the reason for her newest hairstyle?

In an interview with Kim at the media conference, she denied any relation between the breakup and her hair.

"Ngayon, nag-try lang talaga ako [mag-short hair], wala siyang (breakup) kinalaman."

If you're a fan of Kim's long locks, worry not. Turns out, her hairdo at the media conference was just a wig. A shorter haircut is something that Kim has always wanted to try so she wore a wig to see if the style fits her.

"Baka mabigla ako 'eh, tinray ko muna, nag-wig muna talaga ako. Talagang long hair ako. May continuity ang buhok sa serye, hindi muna pwede. Siguro baka after na lang," she said.

According to Kim, she has been single for about a month now and isn't in a rush to be in another relationship. She's ready to focus on her career and her new serye, Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko, where she plays Katya, the cousin and best friend of Megan Young's Yvie.

She shared that her character has a huge role in shaping the twists of the story but she refuses to reveal more about what will happen.
