Maureen Larrazabal has more reasons to smile after she recovered from COVID-19.

On her Instagram post last September 19, the Pepito Manaloto actress expressed her excitement about being tested negative for the coronavirus.

Maureen quipped, “After being tested positive...I'm finally covid free split na kaPepimi ni covid #blessedbeyondmeasure #2monthsbattle #Grateful #GODISGREAT.”

The comedienne learned that she got COVID-19 after getting a swab test at GMA Network.

Prior to her test last August, Maureen already completed three weeks of isolation after experiencing some COVID-19 symptoms.

Despite what she went through, Maureen Larrazabal is grateful to her Pepito Manaloto co-stars and co-workers for giving their 100% support during her ordeal.

In her Give Me Five video, the Kapuso comedienne turned emotional recalling how the whole show made her feel that she is not alone with her bout with COVID-19.

“Ito 'yung last taping ko with Pepito na naka-quarantine ako at naka-isolate, because I'm COVID positive.

“Very grateful kasi ang pagkatao ko, sa totoo lang, and this time mas naramdaman ko 'yung pasasalamat ko sa show, pasasalamat ko sa lahat.

“'Cause kahit mayroon akong sakit, hindi nila ako binitawan!

"Sama-sama kami all together, pinag-taping pa rin nila ako. I'm working from home, tinuruan nila ako how's it done.”

She added, “Sinuportahan nila ako all the way na mararamdaman mo talaga na may puso talaga sila, hindi lang sila katrabaho.

“Mga Kapuso talaga. Yan, naiiyak ako.”
