Mikey Bustos just revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated and receiving his booster shot.

The Filipino-Canadian content creator shared a photo of himself basking under the sun while wearing a face mask, and another snap showing two antigen tests with two lines, which indicated positive results.

Aside from Mikey, his significant other, RJ Garcia, also contracted the highly contagious virus.

The comedian-singer narrated their experience in his Instagram post, “COVID finally got to me! Don't worry, we're fully vaxxed and boosted so healing has been fast! It was terrible for about 24 hours, but now I'm just nursing a mild cough.

“It's times like these when I am grateful for being so OC about nutrients/vitamins, as well as exercise. I feel my body winning the war already as I've given it the best fighting chance right from the start.

“I should feel close to 100 by tomorrow. The body is a remarkable piece of biological technology!”

He then encouraged everyone to get vaccinated and get their booster shots as soon as possible as it can save the lives of many people.

“Stay safe out there, everyone! Get vaccinated and boosted when you can. It can save your life and many others! Eat, exercise, and rest well. Omicron is super contagious and airborne now! Ler's all be healthy and fight this together,” he added.

The online community sent their messages of support for the lovely couple, and Mikey expressed his deepest gratitude to everyone for the kind gesture.
