Is Kris Lawrence's “Unlove You” a clue about Katrina Halili?

For months, fans have been closely following the feel-good online interactions of former couple Kris Lawrence and Katrina Halili, whose viral videos have sparked renewed speculation about the possibility of them getting back together.

Now popularly known as Mr. & Ms. B, Kris and Kat have seemingly turned their real-life dynamic into an online “kilig-serye,” with their spontaneous exchanges giving netizens plenty to talk about.

Their videos, often filled with flirty glances, hugs, and subtle romantic cues, have become a welcome source of positivity on social media. And perhaps no one enjoys their closeness more than their 13-year-old daughter, Katie.

Amid the growing curiosity surrounding their relationship, Kris' latest single, "Unlove You," has added another layer to the mystery.

The song's climactic refrain, “Whether we're together or apart or find somebody new, I could never unlove you,” speaks of heartbreak while holding on to the promise of enduring love.

Asked about the inspiration behind the song, Kris carefully keeps the mystery alive: “It's about the one ex- that you could never unlove, 'the one that got away.'"

Recorded in the United States in August 2025, "Unlove You" is another collaboration between Kris and his good friend, Grammy Award-winning songwriter and Britain's Got Talent alumnus Lil Eddie.

Lil Eddie, known for his 2013 hit Statue, has written and produced songs for international artists including Usher, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Maluma, Daddy Yankee, and Britney Spears. He also co-wrote "Nobody," Kris's 2025 single inspired by Katie.

“I'm super excited because Lil Eddie will be in town this week to help promote Unlove You,” Kris shares.

He adds, “Lil Eddie wrote the song in two hours. My producer in the States, Chokobeats, and I created the groove. We built the tracks around the guitar hook you hear at the start.”

"Unlove You" was released on Spotify on June 24, with its music and lyric videos also available on YouTube. Its official music video, shot in Los Angeles in September 2025, features Lil Eddie and model Chey.

While Kris remains tight-lipped about what his new song could mean in relation to Katrina, he is grateful for the warm reception to their Mr. & Ms. B tandem.

“I feel so grateful that we're being received so positively by netizens. It makes us feel like what we're doing is headed in the right direction. Where it leads, we don't know, but we're kinda just going with the flow.”

Their online “kilig” moments have also been a source of happiness for Katie, who has become part of their feel-good family videos.

“I think Katie is genuinely happy. You can see it in the way she smiles, the way she laughs, and the sense of security she carries. One thing I've learned is that children thrive when the people they love choose peace over pride. Katrina and I have worked hard to create that kind of environment for her, and we've seen beautiful progress - not because of one person, but because of consistency, patience and love. At the end of the day, that's what matters to me.”

For now, whether Mr. & Ms. B are simply enjoying their renewed friendship or there is something more remains a question only they can answer.

Meanwhile, Kris has recently wrapped up a successful U.S. and Canada tour and is preparing for a series of upcoming shows at KDR Adventure Camp on August 16; NOCTOS on September 10 and 11; Chicago on October 16; Toronto with Lil Eddie on October 17; Bakersfield, California, on October 23; and Alaska on October 25.

His September 10 and 11 NOCTOS bar gigs will also serve as his birthday celebration with his family's avid KKK supporters.
