Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez, as well as the Miss World Philippines organization, have both released statements regarding a recent viral TikTok involving the “guess the bill” challenge.
In one of the more recent posts on Krishnah's Instagram account, the beauty queen explained that the video circulating on social media was done “in the spirit of fun” and was not meant to “promote or glorify an extravagant lifestyle”. She took full responsibility and expressed regret for any offense or negative impression that the incident may have caused.
Meanwhile, the Miss World Philippines organization emphasized that the video “does not reflect Krishnah's true character or the values that she upholds.” The organization also said that the viral video was uploaded without Krishnah's consent but Krishnah takes “full responsibility” and has expressed her “deep regret for any misconceptions that may have arisen.”
The controversy stems from a video uploaded on Emman Atienza's TikTok account showing Emman, Krishnah, and their friends joking about the amount of their dinner bill, with their guesses ranging from PhP 100,000 to Php 150,000. Krishnah appears to be the one who paid the extravagant bill, although both she and the Miss World Philippines organization deny this.

Krishnah's participation in the video was criticized by people, especially since the Miss World Philippines winner has cultivated an image of involvement in charitable work. She has engaged in relief efforts for the human and non-human victims of Typhoon Carina, calling for donations for pets at the height of the natural disaster.
Krishnah's non-government organization (NGO) Colors of Kindness also handed out relief goods to victims of Typhoon Carina in Centella, Brgy. San Isidro, Montalban, Rizal.
Krishnah also participated in relief efforts organized by the Miss World Philippines organization in Quezon City.
