The competition is truly getting fiercer as the Miss Universe Philippines has named the top three finalists for the pageant's national costume competition.
In one of the more recent posts on its Instagram account, the Miss Universe Philippines organization announced that the top three finalists for this year's national costume competition are Miss Southern California Jet Hammond, Miss Tacloban Tamara Ocier, and Miss Iloilo City Alexie Brooks. In the caption to the post, the organization revealed that the three finalists will receive P100,000 each.
The national costume competition was held in Sultan Kudarat, where the delegates also participated in “tours, a parade, and charity events.”

The organization opened online voting last week for the pageant's swimsuit challenge, with the winner advancing to the semifinals.
