The Miss World Philippines organization further extends its reach in the country as it announces two provinces and a city in the country now have their own Miss World Philippines franchise.
In a post on the Miss World Philippines official Instagram account, the organization announced that Olongapo City, Zambales, and Bataan have been given their own Miss World Philippines franchise. In the caption to the post, the organization revealed that the RDM Talent and Pageant Circuit now holds the Miss World Philippines franchise for all three locations and will be able to stage pageants that will determine the locations' delegates for the Miss World Philippines national pageant.
These locations are just the latest places in the country to hold a Miss World Philippines franchise. Back in September, the Miss World Philippines organization announced that Wilma Laude Zamore would be the local franchise holder for Cebu.
It was back in August when the Miss World Philippines organization first made the call for provincial directors and local franchise owners. The announcement was made on the organization's official Instagram account, with the caption noting that provincial directors will be tasked with handling the pageant's local franchise and help “empower more queens from different provinces.”
It was also in August that MJV Mclelland was announced as the local franchise holder for Miss World Philippines Western Visayas. As such, the representatives of the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental to the Miss World Philippines pageant will be picked from competitions organized by her.
This announcement, as well as the call for local franchise holders, comes after the announcement of the Pangasinan provincial government as the local franchise for Miss World Philippines. As the local franchise holder of Miss World Philippines, Limgas Na Pangasinan World will now be the one picking the province's representative for the Miss World Philippines pageant. The current Limgas Na Pangasinan titleholder, Nikhisa Buenafe Cheve, will be the province's official candidate for the upcoming Miss World Philippines pageant.
Winners from these different local pageants will succeed current reigning Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol, who has been drumming up support for the advocacies she supports through calls for donations to the ERDA Foundation, a non-government organization that was founded in 1974 and “envisions a nation where all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development in a supportive environment for them to have a better life.”
