The competition is getting fiercer as the Miss Universe Philippines pageant starts seeing frontrunners.
Certain names are certainly coming to the forefront as the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night comes closer and closer. In fact, the organization just announced the top five of its personality interview challenge and some of the names may be familiar to Filipino pageant fans and aficionados.
In one of the more recent posts on its Instagram account, the Miss Universe Philippines organization announced that the delegates making up the top five of the personality interview challenge are Miss Hawaii Patricia Bianca Tapia, Miss Iloilo City Alexie Brooks, Miss Quirino Stephanie Faye Gerona, Miss Quezon Province Ahtisa Manalo, and Miss Taguig Christi Lynn McGarry.
In the caption to the post, the organization explained that the placements were all determined by online votes and encouraged audiences to continue supporting their favorites. The accompanying graphic also explained that the winner of the personality interview challenge would automatically get a spot in the finals.

The Miss Universe Philippines organization had earlier called on the public to vote on the pageant's personality interviews, which had the delegates answering three questions from Miss Universe Philippines executive vice president Voltaire Tayag.
Aside from the top five of the personality interviews challenge, the Miss Universe Philippines organization has also named the top five for the swimsuit presentation challenge. The top five are made up of Miss Cavite Dia Maté, Miss Hawaii Patricia Bianca Tapia, Miss Iloilo City Alexie Brooks, Miss Quezon Province Ahtisa Manalo, and Miss Southern California Jet Hammond.
Miss Iloilo City Alexie Brooks and Miss Southern California Jet Hammond were also part of the top three finalists for the national costume competition held in Sultan Kudarat. According to the Miss Universe Philippines organization, the three finalists will receive P100,000 each.
