Ruru recently wrapped up work in the full action series Black Rider which he topbilled.

The series ended on with a bang as it logged an all-time high in ratings during its finale episode. It scored a 15.6 combined ratings from GMA-7, GTV, and Pinoy Hits according to Nielsen Philippines. This is higher than the 14.7 combined ratings of the program on the same timeslot.

Fans and followers speculated that Ruru's posts might be hints for his next project.

Based on the color of heart emoji and the text background that he used, netizens guesses range from the second season of 2022's Most Watched TV Show Lolong or the recently announced 50th Metro Manila Film Festival Entry Green Bones.

In Green Bones, will see Ruru star opposite Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo and young Kapuso actress Sofia Pablo.

The movie will be under the helm of award-winning director Zig Dulay and is written by National Artist for Films and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee, and 2023 MMFF Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza.

Meanwhile, no other details have emerged regarding the second season of Lolong aside from the casting call made by GMA Public Affairs for child actors in September last year.
