The Miss World Philippines organization is asking for fans to support Kirk Bondad's Mister World journey
Pageant fans and aficionados looking for ways to help out the country's Mister World representative, Kirk Bondad, still have a way to do so before the upcoming coronation night.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss World Philippines organization called on Filipino pageant fans to help Kirk win the People's Choice Best National Costume Award at the 2024 Mister World pageant.
This is the latest appeal for votes that the Miss World Philippines organization has sent out for Kirk. Less than a week ago, the organization called on pageant fans and followers to vote for Kirk for the pageant's Mr. People's Choice voting. The organization shared that a win in the voting would assure a top 20 placement for Kirk.
Winning voting challenges are certainly going to complement Kirk's good performance so far in the Mister World pageant. Just recently, the Miss World Philippines official Instagram account applauded Kirk's performance in the Mister World pageant's Beauty with a Purpose challenge and the Mister World National Costume competition. Kirk was in the top 30 for the Beauty with a Purpose challenge while he was in the top 20 for the National Costume competition.
A week before that, Kirk made it to the Top 12 of the Mister World Top Model competition. In the caption to the Instagram post, the Miss World Philippines organization commended Kirk for showcasing Filipino craftsmanship by wearing a suit made by designer Francis Libiran.
Kirk is in Vietnam to compete in the 2024 Mister World pageant being held in the province of Bình Thuận. The Miss World Philippines Instagram account shared photos from the send-off, along with a caption that wished Kirk the best of luck during the competition.
The Mister World coronation night is set to happen on November 23, 2024, at NovaWorld Phan Thiết in Vietnam. The contestants are hoping to succeed England's Jack Heslewood, who is the current reigning Mister World.
If Kirk continues to perform well in the Mister World competition, he will be another successful representative of the Philippines in a male beauty pageant. Last month, Dom Corilla won the 2024 Mister Global pageant, besting 31 other candidates and becoming the first-ever titleholder from the Philippines.
Dom impressed the judges and audience with his Top 11 speech on bayanihan.
“The Philippine culture that I want to exercise globally is bayanihan, which means one with your country, one with your community, and in simple terms, love your neighbor. Because if you start loving your neighbor, imagine the world peace that we can achieve, the conflicts and wars that we can prevent. If we apply this culturally all around the world, we can really make a difference,” he said.
Mister Supranational Philippines Brandon Espiritu became the most successful delegate the country has sent to the Mister Supranational pageant back in July after ending the pageant as second runner-up.
Both Brandon and Dom won the opportunity to represent the country at the Mister Supranational pageant and the Mister Global pageant respectively by taking part in the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide pageant held last year. Brandon won the pageant while Dom placed in the top six.
