A successful run from Mister World Philippines Kirk Bondad would continue the country's streak of great performances in male beauty pageants.
There's less than a week until a new Mister World is crowned, and the Miss World Philippines organization is doing all it can to secure a placement for the country's representative, Kirk Bondad.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss World Philippines organization called on pageant fans and followers to vote for Kirk for the pageant's Mr. People's Choice voting. The organization shared that a win in the voting would assure a top 20 placement for Kirk.
The call for votes comes after Kirk made it to the Top 12 of the Mister World Top Model competition. The Miss World Philippines organization also commended Kirk for showcasing Filipino craftsmanship by wearing a suit made by designer Francis Libiran in one of its Instagram posts.
Kirk flew to Vietnam two weeks ago to compete in the 2024 Mister World pageant being held in the province of Bình Thuận.
The Mister World coronation night is set on November 23, 2024, at NovaWorld Phan Thiết in Vietnam. The contestants are hoping to succeed England's Jack Heslewood, who is the current reigning Mister World.
A successful Mister World run from Kirk would continue the country's recent streak of successful Philippine representatives in male beauty pageants. Last month, Dom Corilla beat 31 other candidates to become the 2024 Mister Global, becoming the first-ever titleholder from the Philippines.
Mister Supranational Philippines Brandon Espiritu became the most successful delegate the country has sent to the Mister Supranational pageant back in July after ending the pageant as second runner-up.

Both Brandon and Dom won the opportunity to represent the country at the Mister Supranational pageant and the Mister Global pageant respectively by taking part in the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide pageant held last year. Brandon won the pageant while Dom placed in the top six.
