Following the announcement of their extended break, BTS members have now cemented their presence on social media with the launch of their own Instagram accounts on December 6, Monday.
As of writing, each of their Instagram accounts has amassed over 15 million followers since its launch. All members have also shared their first photos on the platform, making waves as they enter the world of Instagram.
From deleting to reposting photos, BTS is certainly still trying to figure out how to be pros in the Instagram game, but for now, bookmark the first few Instagram posts of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook in this gallery.
With his ribboned pigtails, Jin shared a photo of him backstage on the second day of the “Permission to Dance On Stage - LA” concert in Los Angeles, California.
For his first Instagram post, Suga shared a calming view of what seems to be a park.
After erasing his first photo from the face of his feed, Suga posted an all-red photo with a caption that translates to: "Instagram is too hard. :("
J-Hope gifted the fans with a polaroid photo of him looking into a sun-illuminated beach.
He also posted another polaroid snap of him in an aesthetic blur.
With a photo of him seated by the beach, BTS leader RM made his entrance to the world of Instagram.
RM also intends to make his Instagram account an archive of memories, so he shared a photo of him smiling on the SoFi Stadium stage where they recently capped off their four-day “Permission to Dance On Stage - LA” concert.
For his solo Instagram debut, Jimin shared a black and white photo of him clad in a classic suit and a pair of sunglasses.
On the other hand, V launched his Instagram account with a picture of an animal's skeleton.
The BTS singer also tried out the carousel feature of Instagram. For the first photo, he posted a black and white portrait of him holding a bundle of flowers.
V also shared a selfie with shaving cream formed like a mustache on his face.
He initially posted this as a lone photo but quickly deleted it before packaging it in this two-part carousel post.
Finally, their youngest member Jungkook set up his Instagram account with a witty username and already two photos in his feed.
His first post was of a picturesque view of the beach in Santa Monica, California.
Hours after his first post, Jungkook posted a photo of him seated on the stage of the SoFi Stadium.
