Ika niya, "Ang dami kong natutunan both on and off set kay Direk Joyce. She is one of my favorite people in the world. She’s very open, very knowledgeable. And, you know, every time I talk to Direk Joyce I learn something. She’s a mentor, she’s a teacher. I'm learning what it takes to be a great actor, to succeed in this profession."
Dagdag pa niya, "Direk Joyce is a lot of years of wisdom and experience, and she’s able to translate that to what she teaches me, and kung paano kami sa set. Again, kung paano siya sa set is really different with how she is as a person. And I have a lot to thank for Direk Joyce. You know, the mere fact na she sees a lot of potential in me, and she takes the time to build me and my craft is something I greatly appreciate."
