EXCLUSIVE: Miss or Tita? Chanda Romero says she doesn't mind

By Aaron Brennt Eusebio

Chanda Romero

"I really don't care what's in a name," mabilis na sagot ng beteranang aktres.

"Some people may call me Ms. Chanda, pero if really, inside of them they don't respect me, that doesn't mean a thing.

"The title doesn't mean a thing."

Dagdag ni Chanda, "Names and labels don't matter much to me. It's how you treat me and how you regard me as a human being - that is important."

Tinanong din siya kung ano ang mas gusto niyang paraan ng pagbati: pagbebeso o pagmamano.

"I'm a warm person so I greet everybody with a kiss," sagot niya.

"I always take the initiative because I'm aware na, as Chanda Romero, ang daming nag-aakala na, 'Oh my God! Nakakatakot, nakaka-intimidate.'

"I don't blame them for that kasi parang baka ayun 'yung mas nakikita nila.

"I have accepted that a lot of people are intimidated by me so I make an extra effort to break the ice."

Ayon kay Chanda, mas madaling magtrabaho kung walang ilangan na mangyayari.

"Noon kasi, when I was younger, I didn't care. Basta wala akong ginagawang masama sa 'yo, I don't care what you think of me," pag-amin niya.

"Now I noticed how much easier and happier a set is when you're also magaan.

"Parang you're more giving yourself to others kasi then you realized, what would it take me ba if I kiss them or if I say 'hi' first?

"Walang mawawala, pero maraming maidadagdag 'yan especially if you're going to work for months and months."
