Angel Locsin warns netizens about fake account

Actress/endorser Angel Locsin has been front and center in providing help for the healthcare workers battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

That is why Angel took immediate action to inform her close to 12 million Twitter followers about the fake account "Angel Locsin Staffed."

The former Mulawin star stressed in her tweet that this account is a bogus account and is not in any way connected to her.

"We would like to inform everyone that this account is NOT ANGEL LOCSIN NOR CONNECTED to her. We are asking for everyone's cooperation to report this account."


As of Monday, March 30, the country has recorded 1,546 cases of COVID-19; 78 have died from the virus.

The Department of Health also reported that the number of people who have recovered from the disease remained at 42.
