Arjo Atayde, nagbigay ng update sa lagay ng mga magulang matapos magpositibo sila sa COVID-19
Aminado ang aktor na si Arjo Atayde na matinding pagsubok ang balita na positibo sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) ang kanyang mga magulang na sina Art Atayde at Sylvia Sanchez.
Isang official statement ang inilabas nina Arjo at kapatid niyang si Ria sa kanilang Instagram account upang mabigyan linaw ang ilang bagay, kabilang na ang lagay ng kanilang mga magulang. May dalawa pa silang kapatid na sina Gela at Xavi.
Sa statement, nagpasalamat ang magkakapatid na Atayde sa natatangap nilang mensahe ng suporta mula sa mga tao.
"Before anything else, we'd like to thank everyone for their overwhelming love and support.
"Although it is difficult and anxiety-inducing knowing that both our parents are positive with COVID-19, all the well wishes and get well soon messages have definitely uplifted our family -- especially them."
Base din sa kanilang pahayag na bumubuti na ang lagay ng kanilang mga magulang, pero 'tila mas matagal ang kanilang recovery.
"A week into their self-isolation and a week after having their swab tests done, our parents are slowly getting better.
"Although it's taking longer than their usual recovery time, we are happy to see them with their spirits still high.
"Apart from that, it has enlightened us to know that no one that they have come in contact with before the quarantine and no one else here at home are showing symptoms."
Hiniling din ng magkakapatid na Atayde na ipagdasal ang kanilang pamilya pati na rin pang ibang tao na naapektuhan nang sakit na ito.
"Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.
"We ask that you continue to pray for our parents, our household that nobody else contracted it, every other individual and family dealing with this same ordeal and of course, all our frontliners who continue to risk their lives everyday for our safety.
"Please all stay safe, healthy, take your vitamins and stay at home if you have the option. - Arjo, Ria, Gela and Xavi"
Makikita sa comments section ng IG post ni Arjo na nagpaabot din ng mensahe ang ilan sa katrabaho niya sa showbiz tulad nina Jessy Mendiola at Christine Bersola-Babao.
In a relationship si Arjo kay Eat Bulaga star Maine Mendoza at kanilang ipinagdiwang ang first anniversary nila noong December 2019.
