By Bianca Geli

Lady Gaga has confirmed her upcoming album Chromatica will be released this May 29.

One of its tracks, "Sour Candy," is a collaboration with Korean girl group BLACKPINK.

The said release is seven weeks later than the original planned date due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She wrote on Instagram post on March 25, "This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this.

"It just doesn't feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic."

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is slated for a group comeback this coming June.
