Hyun Bin and Park Seo Joon compete for Best Actor award

Korean dramas are taking over a lot of people's quarantine TV series binge-watch lists, and actors Hyun Bin of Crash Landing on You and Park Seo Joon of Itaewon Class are among the lead not just in the hearts of their fans but for prestigious awards.

The two Korean actors are among the contenders for Best Actor in the upcoming 56th Baeksang Arts Awards, media outlet Soompi reports. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Baeksang Awards ceremony will push through on June 5 provided social distancing measures and without a live audience.

Among the Best Actor nominees are Hyun Bin for Crash Landing on You, Park Seo Joon for Itaewon Class, Kang Ha Neul for When the Camelia Blooms, Namgoong Min for Stove Lead, and Ju Ji Hoon for Hyena.

Currently, Park Seo Joon is filming for the upcoming film Dream co-starring singer IU while Hyun Bin is set to star in upcoming thriller film Bargaining.
