EXO's Suho and BTOB's Yook Sungjae shine in new photos from military training center

EXO-Ls and Melody need not worry about Suho and Yook Sungjae as the two Korean pop stars seem to be adjusting in their new life as a soldier.

Yesterday, May 19, the Nonsan Army Training Center have released photos of their recently recruited soldiers on their website, which includes EXO member Suho and BTOB member Yook Sungjae.

On May 14, Suho quietly enlisted in the military center and was later assigned to the second platoon of the sixth company of the 23rd Regiment.

He is the third member of EXO to enter the military after Xiumin and D.O. After four weeks of basic military training, he will be assigned to work as a public service worker.

Meanwhile, Yook Sungjae enlisted on May 11 together with fellow member Hyunsik and PENTAGON's Jinho.

Like Suho, he will receive basic military training at the center but will be assigned to another division once it's over. He is expected to complete his service on November 14th, 2021.

Mystic Pop-up Bar

For all the Melody who might miss Yook Sungjae while he's in the military, you may catch his new drama titled Mystic Pop-Up Bar which will premiere today, May 20, on Netflix.

Based on a popular webtoon, the drama centers around a mysterious outdoor drinking establishment, popularly known as “pojangmacha,” run by an ill-tempered woman named Wol Joo (played by Hwang Jung Eum) who visits customers in their dreams to help resolve their problems.

In it, Yook Sungjae plays the innocent part-time employee Han Kang Bae.
