Will Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin visit Philippines together?
Now that Korean stars Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are officially endorsers for a local telco brand, fans are speculating whether the two are bound for a fan meeting in the Philippines.
During the Smart Communications digital press conference on August 3, Marketing Head for Smart Shing Dimagiba said, "There are no immediate plans although that is something we ourselves are excited to see."
"As we know both of them are very, very big stars with jam packed schedules all year round, so we're definitely looking forward to their visit once their situation improves. We still have to work it out," he said.
Son Ye Jin has also shared a message to Filipino fans, expressing her eagerness to visit the Philippines.
"I was very happy, actually, I wanted to go to the Philippines and shoot.
"And the fans who loved the drama sent me so many messages of support on social media.
"I am really happy to shoot an advertisement for a Philippine brand, and it's even better because it's a Smart advertisement.
"It's just so sad that I could not come to see all the fans in person, but I'm always very thankful and happy to be able to meet them this way," she said in a recorded interview for Smart Communications.

Both Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are the latest endorsers for Smart Communications Inc.'s latest campaigns.
The two were paired in the 2019 Korean drama Crash Landing on You with Hyun Bin as Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok, a North Korean soldier while Son Ye Jin appeared as South Korean heiress Yoon Seri.
