Filipino celebrities pay tribute to medical frontliners in touching video
“Ilang beses man kaming gumanap na doktor at nurse, hindi namin matutumbasan ang laki ng kontribusyon ninyo sa bayan, lalo na ngayong panahon ng pandemya.”
This is how the group AKTOR - League of Filipino Actors introduced their touching video tribute as a way of thanking medical frontliners for their service.
In an uploaded video on Wednesday, August 5, notable celebrities from both networks came together to record the short clip.
Kapuso stars including Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Sunshine Dizon, Janine Gutierrez, Gabbi Garcia, and Gabby Eigenmann are seen together with Kapamilya stars such as Angel Locsin, Piolo Pascual, Jodi Sta. Maria, Agot Isidro, Angel Aquino, and so much more.
The group tells the viewer, "Kapag natapos na ang lahat ng ito, anumang bagong mundo ang hatid ng 'di mo pagsuko sa'min.
"Ibibigay namin lahat ng yakap na hindi mo nakuha nooong mga nakaraang buwan.
"Sasalubungin ka namin ng buong pagmamahal at babalik ka sa amin na isang bayani. Dahil 'yon ka, bayani."
They add, "May isisilang tayong bagong mundo. Gusto ko makita ka 'roon, gusto ka maging bahagi ka nun, makasama ka ro'n.
"At kung minsan ay hindi namin nasasabi ng madalas... pasensya na.
"Pero ngayon, bago ka bumalik sa trabaho, sana'y alam mo: abot-langit ang pasasalamat namin sa'yo.
"Maraming salamat."

As of this writing, the uploaded video has already garnered almost 3,000 Likes and over 2,000 shares in the social media platform.
The comments section overflows with love from fans to thank health workers for their continuous aid.
Medical frontliners, who were able to view the video, thanked the organization for the appreciation they recieved.
One netizen wrote, "Thank you po sa pagpaparamdam ng pasasalamat sa aming mga sakrpisyo. Mula sa aming mga frontliners, lalaban tayo sa pandemic."
Another said, "Maraming salamat, AKTOR at sa lahat na sumusuporta sa amin. Na-appreciate po talaga namin itong video. Na-motivate kami dahil alam namin na andyan kayo na sumusuporta sa min.
"Ang laban namin ay laban para sa ating lahat na Pilipino. Tulong-tulong po tayong lumaban sa ating hinaharap na pandemya.
