Manilyn Reynes relates Kuya Germs's advice about loving her job
Kapuso actress Manilyn Reynes is forever grateful to the late TV legend and starmaker German “Kuya Germs” Moreno for all his contributions to her career and husband Aljon Mendoza.
On Instagram, Manilyn uploaded a short video message to mark the supposed 87th birthday of the That's Entertainment pioneer.
She shared that Kuya Germs imparted so many valuable advice to her, especially on loving her job as an entertainer.
Manilyn said, “Tito Germs happy birthday po galing po sa amin ni Aljon [Jimenez]. Malaki po ang pasasalamat namin sa inyo sa ginawa niyo hindi lang po para sa amin dalawa ni Aljon kundi para sa lahat ng anak-anakan niyo sa That's Entertainment.
“Hindi po namin nakakalimutan 'yung payo na talagang tumatak sa puso at isipan namin lahat. Ang mahalin ang aming trabaho at kami ay mamahalin nito.”
“Ginagawa pa rin po namin yan Tito Germs at isa pang payo, mahalin ang aming tagahanga.” the Kapuso comedienne added.
On October 3, some members of the That's Entertainment program held an online reunion via the video conference.
Kuya Germs, 82, died due to cardiac arresti n 2016. His son, Federico Moreno remembered his father's 4th death anniversary via a heartfelt Facebook post in January of this year.
