Jackson Wang's label Team Wang signs a business venture with Sublime Artist Agency

Just two days after it was confirmed that GOT7's Youngjae has signed with Sublime Artist Agency, another member from the popular boy group has signed with the entertainment company and it's none other than Jackson Wang.

On Friday, January 22, the K-pop idol and Hong Kong native confirmed the news on his social media accounts with the logos of his company, Team Wang, and Sublime Artist Agency side by side.

He said in the post, “I always hope that I can make you all proud. I'm so blessed for having you all, supporting and giving confidence to a kid like me when I had none since Day 1.

“I will try our best to create unique and special things in 2021 -- different identities in different fields.

“Let's make history. #TeamWang.”

The agency also welcomed Jackson via their Twitter account by posting a photo of the singer with the words “Welcome!”

It said, “Team Wang and Sublime Artist Agency will engage in extensive global collaboration in 2021. We are collaborating across varying business functions and conducting business in the music industry, production, and managing various artists.

“Both companies will continue to develop businesses together.”

Since the announcement, Sublime further teased GOT7 fans with clips of Youngjae and Jackson entering a conference room, with both tweets garnering more than 20K retweets (and counting) from fans all over the world.

Currently, reports say that other GOT7 members have been receiving offers from various labels in South Korea. Yugyeom is said to be in talks with AOMG, Jinyoung with BH Entertainment, and Bambam with MakeUs Entertainment. However, none of these agencies have confirmed signing the members just yet.

Furthermore, GOT7 leader JB is weighing his options, and Mark is considering working on his solo music in the United States.

Speaking of Mark, the rapper has recently achieved gaining 1 million subscribers on YouTube, and to celebrate, posted his first video since opening his channel on January 5, 2010.

As a treat, he'll be releasing his song with Bangladeshi-American singer Sanjoy called “One in a Million” on February 12.

He said, “I want to let you guys know, I collaborated on a song with Sanjoy, and it's called 'One in a Million' and it will be out on February 12th. Save the date! Let's go, peace!”

It can be recalled that he already gave fans a glimpse of the single back in October 2020 during his holiday break in the US.
