Pauline Mendoza commends Kristoffer Martin for his bravery after revealing the identity of his daughter
Last week, many were surprised after long-time Kapuso star Kristoffer Martin went on record to reveal that he's already a father to four-year-old girl named Precious Christine or “Prè.
In his exclusive interview with 24 Oras, the Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat star stated that he wanted to share Prè's identity to the public.
Kristoffer told 24 Oras, “Hinding-hindi ko pababayaan si Prè. Hindi niya mararamdaman na nawalan siya ng tatay. Na wala ako doon. Sabi niya, kahit ano'ng mangyari anak ko si Prè.
“Sobrang tagal ko na gustong ilabas, as in sobra.
“Eh sabi ko, 'Lord penge lang ng sign, isang tao lang talaga'
“Proud ako na nagawa ko 'to kasi she deserves this, she really deserves this.”

One of his co-actors in the soap, Pauline Mendoza, expressed her support to him for his bravery.
In her one-on-one chat with GMANetwork.com on January 26, the GMA Artist Center beauty has only kind words for Kristoffer, who became their “kuya” during their lock-in taping last year.
Pauline recalled, “Lagi po nga nilang sinasabi na noong pre-pandemic, wala kaming noong relationship kung ano meron kami na nabuild talaga noong nagka-pandemic.
“Sir Kristoffer napaka-professional din niyang tao, dedicated siya sa career niya. Dedicated siya sa kung ano ginagawa niya talaga, kung ano gusto niya, 'yun ang priority niya.”
“Very caring 'yan si Kristoffer Martin, knowing him talagang napakabait niya sa pamilya niya. Napakabait niya sa aming lahat, actually siya 'yung nag-aalaga sa amin lahat, e.
“Siya yung: 'Uy okay ka lang?' ganyan yan sa taping.”
The promising drama actress added that she's happy for him that there's nothing holding him back, since his "secret" is now out.
“So mabait-mabait si Kristoffer Martin, nagulat kami and I'm proud of him actually na nag-open up na siya. Wala na siyang hino-hold back. So happy na kinaya niya at kaya niya.”
Working with Direk Jules Katanyag
Pauline was given the immense job this 2021 by GMA Network to become the lead actress of a soap for the very first time in her career.
And with the help of Direk Jules Katanyag, she will breathe life into her role as Iris Salvador in Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat.
For those who didn't know, Pauline already knows Direk Jules from their days shooting her 2017-2018 primetime series Kambal Karibal.
“Naka-work ko na siya dati sa Kambal Karibal, parang siya yung naging second unit director namin siya doon.
“Pero hindi ko rin siya masyado nakaka-vibe noon that time, pero this time excited ako to work with him.”
The young drama actress was also grateful to Direk Jules Katanyag for guiding her throughout her scenes, too.
“And noong nag-lock-in taping kami, nabuild 'yung relationship namin ni Direk Jules, naging close kami dalawa. And marami ako natutunan sa kanya, like noong pre-pandemic kasi talaga madali, e, nandoon kami sa momentum na 'yun,
“Noong nag-istop 'yun bumalik kami... Pinagusapan namin to build Iris Salvador, kasi mabigat talaga 'yung mga kailangan ibigay na emosyon ni Iris, so nandiyan si Direk Jules.
“He's very professional tinutulangan niya ako sa bawat eksena, talagang gina-guide niya talaga ako on what's needed and si Direk Jules, hindi siya mahirap katrabaho, kasi he gives you freedom as an actor.”
