GOT7 Mark Tuan shares tender moments before moving back to Los Angeles

By Aedrianne Acar

Mark Tuan's seven-minute video is sure to break the hearts of many ahgase (short for GOT7's fanclub name I GOT7).

GOT7 member Mark Tuan uploaded his first-ever vlog titled 'a new beginning' on his YouTube channel that showed some behind-the-scenes moments before the K-pop idol left South Korea and moving to Los Angeles, California.

In the vlog, he even showed the moments, when he was saying goodbye to his GOT7 brothers before leaving the airport.

Last January, members Park Jin-young, Jackson Wang, JB, Mark Tuan, BamBam, Kim Yugyeom, and Choi Young-jae gave their message for their ahgase through their official Instagram, after it was reported that they are leaving JYP Entertainment--their music label since debuting in 2014.

The handwritten letter goes:

“Ahgase (short for GOT7's fanclub name I GOT7), this is GOT7. First of all, we feel very apologetic to our Ahgase about writing a letter for a reason like this. We are parting ways without contract renewal with JYP [Entertainment], which launched our beginning with us and worked hard for us until the end, as we cheer on each other's futures. All of us members will be taking on new starts with people who will take responsibility together for each of our individual futures. We are writing to you like this as we want to tell our fans first.

"We know very well that no words can make up for the hurt feelings and uneasiness felt by Ahgase.

"However, we think there is just one thing that we can really say to Ahgase as GOT7.

"All of us want to continue making music for Ahgase, share it together, and continue spending time together in the future!"

Mark's official YouTube channel is pretty remarkable. He has only two videos in his channel right now, which was created in January 2010. But as of writing, it has already accumulated more than 2M subscribers and has amassed over 4.5M lifetime views.

His channel is already eligible for the Gold Play Button Award from the video-sharing site, after surpassing the 1M subscriber mark.

According to several reports, Jackson Wang and Young-jae have signed with Sublime Artist Agency, while Jinyoung is now officially with BH Entertainment.
