British rock band Coldplay commends Grammy-nominated Korean boy group BTS for their recent rendition of the latter's “Fix You” in their episode of MTV's unplugged.

The group even included a link to their special tweet and wrote the words “beautiful” in Korean and “Love” in English, along with the band members' initials, namely Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, and Guy Berryman.

Aside from Coldplay's “Fix You,” RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook did a half-hour performance of their tracks “Telepathy,” “Blue and Grey,” “Life Goes On,” and their 2020 hit, “Dynamite.”

Before performing the heartwarming performance, member Jimin shared that they chose the song “Fix You” because it gave them comfort, so they “wanted to prepare this cover to comfort you [ARMYs] as well.”

Initially, “Fix You” was reportedly written by Chris Martin to comfort his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, after the death of her father, Bruce Paltrow. According to reports, Chris even played the keyboard that belonged to Bruce on the original recording.

In an interview for Rolling Stone back in 2008, Chris said, “Every album has a key song around which other things get written and without which you couldn't do other things.

“On the third album, X&Y, it was 'Fix You.' And all of them were an absolute nightmare to record, and it's horrible, and it takes forever. I don't know what it is -- this pressure on something because you can hear that it's good.”

Since the release of BTS's rendition, fans have been lauding the group for their beautiful reinterpretation of the song. It even reached the top spot on worldwide Twitter, with almost a million tweets and counting.
