It's a happy Easter indeed for SHINee World, a.k.a. Shawols, as K-pop boy group SHINee announces that they will have their very first Beyond Live concert on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021.

On Friday, March 12, the group made the big announcement over their Twitter account by posting an image of their concert poster titled “Beyond LIVE - SHINee: SHINee World.”

According to the post, tickets will start selling on Thursday, March 18, through the Beyond Live channel found in Naver's VLive website and mobile application.

Last month, SHINee released their seventh Korean studio album titled “Don't Call Me."

This is the group's first release since Onew, Key, and Minho completed their military service, except Taemin.

Upon its release, the album debuted at Number 1 on the Gaon Album Chart and debuted at Number 7 in the Billboard World Albums chart, becoming their first entry on the chart in three years and their 12th top entry since their debut in 2008.

Its lead track, “Don't Call Me,” has recently won its 6th win in various Korean music TV programs, including the M Countdown and Show Champion.

“Don't Call Me” is a hip-hop dance track that combines a signature vocoder sound with intense 808 bass, synth sound, and sampled vocal source. The lyrics tell how the protagonist is severing ties with his ex-lover after being betrayed by her.

Following their comeback, SHINee members have remained busy with their solo activities.

For one, leader Onew was recently cast to play the lead role in the musical production The Sun's Song. Along with DAY6's Wonpil, GOT7's Youngjae, and musical actor Jo-hoon, he will play the role of Haram.

The Sun's Song will premiere at the Gawanglim Art Center on May 1, 2021, and will run until July 25, 2021.

Meanwhile, visual and rapper Minho was recently awarded the Jury Special Prize at the 40th Golden Film Awards for his work in the 2019 movie The Battle of Jangsari.

During his speech, Minho thanked the film's director, staff, senior and fellow actors. He also mentioned that he will continue to work hard as an actor now that he has been relieved from his military duties.

He added, “Lastly, I hope everyone here and the ones watching right now are in good health. I will work hard to become a good actor in the future."
