Kris Bernal thanks delivery app for fast action over fraudulent bookings incident

Yesterday, July 6, Kapuso star Kris Bernal expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped her with the fake food delivery bookings incident.

Last weekend, the actress fell victim to fake delivery bookings.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the 32-year-old actress also thanked Grab Philippines for their fast response in resolving the issue.

The former Impostora actress wrote in the caption, “Grateful for all of you”

“I just want to commend Grab PH for how they handled the incident. Just a few minutes after my posts, Grab has gotten in touch with me and has urgently conducted an investigation into the fraud delivery bookings.”

Kris also shared how the delivery app compensated the affected riders.

“They checked in on the delivery partners and ensured that they were compensated for this incident. The riders were not charged but were reimbursed,” she added.

The popular delivery app has likewise blocked the number that was used for the fake bookings.

The former Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko actress, however, said that the other two fake bookings she received last Sunday was from the same scammer.

“So far, no more fake bookings. Though, two fake bookings (No longer from Grab) by the same culprit came last Sunday. Hindi niya pa rin ako tinigilan,” she shared.

Kris continued, “Yesterday's stress-free day is brought to you by all of you, my fiance, my cute outfit, and Grab! Just grateful. Happy Tuesday!.”

An Instagram user questioned her post, “Grateful for who?”

Kris answered, “@yosiboi.anja For those who helped, shared my post, reported it, messaged me offering help as much as they can, and for those who went against the scammer.”

As of this writing, Kris's appreciation post has over 25,000 likes on Instagram.

Last July 3, Kris became a victim of 23 fake food delivery bookings and shared it on her Instagram page to raise awareness on this kind of incident.
