Breathtaking but shrouded in mystery. The island of Siquijor is famous for many things - spectacular waterfalls, picturesque beaches, and historic landmarks.

The place is also known for its mystic traditions ranging from traditional healing rituals to witchcraft.

Julie Anne explores all these as she attempts to understand the island's culture and tradition.

“There are a lot of misconceptions about the island of Siquijor,” said Julie Anne.

“[So] It was really nice to get to know Siquijor for real.”

Julie Anne through “Heal” captures Siquijor's natural beauty and allure, making it an “eye-opener” not just to the singer but to the viewers as well.

For “Heal,” Julie Anne is joined by Kapuso actor Rayver Cruz and The Clash Season 3 Grand Champion Jessica Villarubin.

“We had a fun, amazing experience. It was just nice to catch up with someone like Rayver, siyempre isama na rin natin si Jessica,” Julie Anne told GMANetwork.com.

“I'm happy she's [Jessica] part of 'Limitless' and she represents Visayas 'cause she's from Cebu,” said Julie Anne.

Plus, a local singer from Dumaguete will collaborate with Julie Anne. Their performances are a must-see!

It's one of the biggest highlights of “Heal.” Julie Anne wearing a red gown playing piano and singing on the scenic sandbar.

“'Yung ginawa namin na we did a song sa sandbar with a piano, 'yun na 'yung pinaka-intimate because it's Julie's voice and an old piano - very intimate. But for me, it's the biggest song [in 'Heal'],” said musical director Myke Solomon.

Even Julie Anne said that it's among the best moments, not just in the musical, but in her career as well.

“I never imagined performing my own composition at a sandbar,” Julie Anne said in amazement.

Julie Anne said time and time again how therapeutic songwriting is for her.

Limitless in its entirety allows Julie Anne to showcase her songs, giving fans and viewers a peek into her songwriting talent.

In “Heal,” Julie Anne is able to perform her compositions, something that she rarely gets to do on regularly.

“I'm really proud because I got to sing my own songs and showcase my other skills. The show also allows us to appreciate the beauty of the Philippines,” said Julie Anne.
