Asia's multi-media star Alden Richards is proud and ready to fully strip off his celebrity veil and introduce Richard Fulkerson Jr. boldly and in the flesh in the upcoming documentary-concert "FORWARD."

"The past 10 years that I've been here syempre kilala na rin ng mga tao si Richard Faulkerson Jr. but not in detail. Actually the past few days, nag-photoshoot na ko ng docu materials for this eh. As opposed to my concerts before, it's more of the showbiz journey, the life journey of Alden Richards, but this concert, part lang si Alden Richards, it's really more of Richard Faulkerson Jr. Ano ba 'yung mga pinagdaanan ko when I was still not introduced to the idea of being part of the showbiz industry, so 'yun 'yon," he said in a virtual interview for his concert for the benefit of his AR Foundation.

In his docu-concert, he will let his fans know about his life as a normal teen who then struggled, just like most people, to make ends meet.

"Sa Laguna, pupuntahan natin 'yung luma naming bahay, kung saan ako unang sumali ng pageants, the school where I graduated high school. Basically detail by detail hindi siya a day in the life eh. I want to share my story para at least yung launch ng AR Foundation hindi lang siya in passing," he added.

Having experienced struggles at fulfilling his education, Alden identified himself with unfortunate kids who chose to quit school because of financial challenges.

"I want to break a cycle, 'yung cycle na hirap ka mag-aral kasi wala kang pera kasi i've experienced that myself. I've been there, I know how it feels. I want to be a beacon of hope and the AR Foundation wants to be a beacon of hope to these kids," he said.

Alden says his celebrity version has always had the "famous, good guy in showbiz" image; however, there indeed is much more to learn about him. Hence, he wants to let people in on his "more purposeful side," what he stands for, and the reason why he is doing what he does.

His hardships eventually inspired his advocacy to help send unfortunate but deserving kids to school through his AR Foundation.

"I'm not here for fame. Feeling ko at this time of my life, now that I'm turning 30, there's a higher purpose sa buhay, may higher calling, and I think this is my higher calling, to really use my platform, the influence that I have to spread kindness to other people. Ang daming nangangailangan," he said.

Directed by Frank Lloyd Mamaril, "FORWARD" the concert will happen on January 30, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets are now available through the Ticket 2 Me website for P1,999 (VIP) and P999 (GA). Buy here: https://ticket2me.net/e/34360
