Sunshine Cruz slams bashers claiming daughter Sam is pregnant: 'Piliin niyo paglalaruan niyo'

Actress Sunshine Cruz did not hold her punches against rumor mongers spreading false information saying her 17-year-old daughter Sam is pregnant.

In a Facebook post, the Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune actress was fuming mad and defended her daughter from such derogatory claims.

"FAKE NEWS! So easy to destroy and make fun of someone by spreading lies on social media," she said.

She then closed it with a burning statement, "Piliin nyo pinaglalaruan nyo huwag yung bata o MINOR pa."

Along with it are collated screengrabs of online releases supposedly informing about Sam's alleged pregnancy.

She may not have publicly issued a denial but Sam constantly reposted her mother's posts as well as article releases from news sites reporting about their camp's rebuttal.

It all started when netizens feasted on a photo uploaded by Sunshine of her with her three daughters on Instagram.

In the photo, netizens noticed that Sam, who was wearing a loose dress, looked as if she was covering her belly.

Because of this, rumors that she may be pregnant already made rounds on social media.

This was not the first time Sunshine went to her daughter's defense against malicious news.

Just last May, Sunshine unhesitatingly called out those who edited her family photo together with boyfriend Macky Mathay. His face was altered and replaced with that of an adult industry actor.

Last year, she has reportedly blocked many accounts for being "sexual predators."

Sunshine will soon be seen on GMA Telebabad's Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune, premiering on January 3.
