Sparkle artist Kate Valdez received a copy of the fantasy-thriller comic book Dream Walker in which the main character was inspired by her Filipina beauty.

The said comic book was created by Filipino-American writer Mikey Sutton and international visual artist Noel Layon Flores.

On Instagram, Kate shared her excitement by posting her selfies with a copy of the comic book she has received.

The actress mentioned that she still feels surreal by being the face of an international comic book.

She wrote,"Me in a comic book?? I mean even though I'm holding my copy of DREAM WALKER, It still feels so surreal and the artwork is insane. Sir @noellayonflores ! Looking forward to more volumes! Thank you po, Sir @suttonpub for making this happen."

Dream Walker is a tale about a blogger named Kat who enters a person's dream, retrieves objects from it, and uses them to fight the monsters.

The said comic book became an instant hit in KRS Comics in California and was included in the Top 10 comic books that were pre-sold in just a week days after it was announced.

According to Sutton, the comic book will soon be available in Philippine stores.
