Ashley Ortega and Skye Chua perform at fundraising Christmas ice show 'Carols on Ice'

Ashley Ortega and Skye Chua had an excellent glide yesterday, December 21, as they showed off their incredible skating skills at the first musical Christmas ice show in the Philippines titled Carols on Ice: Journey to a Dream at the SM Mall of Asia.

Organized by Philippine Skating Union in collaboration with SM Skating, Carols on Ice: Journey to a Dream aims to raise funds and expand awareness for ice skating in the Philippines.

Among the elite and senior figure skaters, who gave outstanding performances in the ice skating show, were Michael Martinez, Sofia Frank, Edrian Celestino, Isabella Gamez, Alexander Korovin, Skye Patenia, and Sofia Guidote.

On the other hand, Sparkle Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Assistant Vice President Ms. Joy Marcelo, along with Ashley and Skye's Hearts on Ice co-stars Roxie Smith and Ina Feleo, and Kapuso talent Shuvee Entrata, were present at the event, showing their support for Ashley and Skye.

Ashley will lead the upcoming figure skating series Hearts on Ice along with multi-talented actor Xian Lim.

Joining the star-studded cast of the upcoming sports drama series are Amy Austria, Rita Avila, Tonton Gutierrez, Lito Pimentel, Cheska Inigo, Antonette Garcia, Kim Perez, Ruiz Gomez, Skye Chua, and Roxie Smith.
