Vince Maristela praised Kapamilya network executive, actress, and host Charo Santos-Concio following a humorous mix-up of identity.
Kapuso actor Vince Maristela took to social media to share photos with Kapamilya executive and veteran actress-host Charo Santos-Concio at the MEGA Ball 2026. This comes after a humorous incident where he mistook ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes for Charo.
This hilarious moment happened during an episode of It's Showtime in their Laro, Laro, Pick segment, which featured the cast of the series The Secrets of Hotel 88, including Vince.
When the Kapuso actor was asked to name a host of a drama program whose name starts with the letter 'C,' he gave an amusing answer.
“Cory Vidanes,” Vince replied.
Vince's answer was incorrect, as veteran actress Charo Santos-Concio is the actual host of the mentioned drama program. Cory Vidanes, on the other hand, serves as the Chief Operating Officer of ABS-CBN.
The viral moment caught the attention of netizens and even Charo Santos-Concio herself. The veteran actress jokingly extended an invitation for Vince to visit her office so they could get properly acquainted.
“Hi Vince, please go to my office,” she wrote.
In his recent post, Vince Maristela shared a photo of his meeting with the veteran actress-host at the MEGA Ball 2026, playfully adding in the caption that they are on good terms following the humorous incident that happened recently.
“Goodmorning bati na po kami hehe,” Vince wrote.
He followed this up with a message of admiration and congratulations for Charo, whom he described as a true legend in the country's media and entertainment industry.
“Congratulations, Ma'am @charosantos. Thank you for inspiring many generations of artists. A legend. An icon,” he expressed.
In addition to his stint on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Vince Maristela previously joined Rak Rak - Sense of Love, a Korean reality dating show filmed in Thailand.
