Time flies for Kapuso comedian Archie Alemania who will be celebrating his third year with Bubble Gang this January.

Together with his co-stars, the versatile actor is also busy preparing for the show's 24th anniversary presentation happening in November.

In his exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com today, October 21, Archie shared the importance of their upcoming anniversary, which he said is also popular among celebrities from the rival network.

He explained, “Institusyon! Ang show na gustong gusto ng lahat ng artista na mga nakakausap ko, kabilang network man o dito, kaya sobrang happy na nakasama ako sa Bubble Gang.”

Archie, a former Kapamilya star, also revealed the main difference how comedy is being done in Bubble Gang compared to the other comedy shows.

“Kasi sa kabilang network, ito 'yung pangarap kong show eh. Sa kabila, ito 'yung hinihingi kong show na gag show, eh hindi nila maibigay sa akin.

“Mas mataas 'yung quality kasi dito. Siyempre nandito si Michael V., institusyon sa comedy 'yan pagdating sa gag shows.

“Magmula pa ng Tropang Trumpo, Michael V. na, so iba talaga ang quality ng comedy 'pag si Michael V. nandoon.

“Nasasala ni Kuya Bitoy, siya 'yung papasa ba sa akin ito o hindi? May ganung salaan. So kapag nakalusot sa kanya 'yung script ibig sabihin maganda at nakakatawa.”

He might be identified as a comedian, but Archie also makes sure that he still accepts drama projects from time to time.

According to him, it is important as an actor that you can play a wide range of roles.

He said, “Pero minsan hinahanap ng katawan ko 'yung mag-drama naman paminsan-minsan. As an actor naman, gusto mo wide range naman 'yung gusto mo gawin.

“So nagagamit ko rin 'yung ginagawa ko sa Bubble [Gang] na iba-iba 'yung characters doon sa pagda-drama naman.”
