EXCLUSIVE: Andrea Torres says 'Happy ToGetHer' guesting was an opportunity to learn from Direk Bobot Mortiz

The excitement is building for the guest appearance of Sparkle actress Andrea Torres in the hit sitcom of John Lloyd Cruz tomorrow night.

Kapuso viewers have already seen the teaser of the Easter Sunday episode of Happy ToGetHer, wherein Andrea will be portraying the role of Emily.

In her exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com, Andrea shared what it was like working with the multi-awarded actor.

She said, “Nakita ko 'yung side niya na creative consultant ng show. Na-amaze ako marinig 'yung thoughts and ideas niya sa eksena at kung paano niya 'yun inaaral.”

In addition, the Kapuso actress also learned a lot working with the show's director Edgar 'Bobot' Mortiz.

Andrea told GMANetwork.com, “Marami kang matututunan sa kanya. Gustong gusto ko siya kausap kasi kahit saglit pa yan, meron at meron kang mapupulot.

“Also, makikita mo rin 'yung art ng comedy. Kung bakit nilagay 'yung punchline na 'yun, paano mo siya dapat bitawan, hinihimay talaga bawat eksena.”

Doing a comedy show is not a new thing for Andrea Torres since she was trained with the best-of-the-best comedy stars in Bubble Gang before.

She admitted that her guesting on Happy ToGetHer is a "good breather" after doing several drama projects in the past years.

“Yes. Ang saya rin talaga gumawa ng ganito kasi light lang. Nagsunod-sunod din kasi 'yung mga drama projects ko so magandang breather at mabuti rin na paiba-iba ka ng material na ginagawa para nare-revisit mo 'yung side mo na yun,” Andrea noted.

She continued, “This episode, though hindi siya 'yung usual na napapanood niyong episodes ng Happy ToGetHer, medyo may dinagdag sila na kakaibang attack.”
