Jeric Gonzales considers role in 'Start-Up PH' his biggest break

For any artist, there's always that one movie or TV series that they consider their big break, and for Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales, it's his role as Davidson “Dave” Navarro in Start-Up PH.

In an interview with Aubrey Carampel on "Chika Minute," jeric expressed how grateful he is for the role, and how excited he is when making the series.

“Kaya nung makita ko yung mga teaser, overwhelmed pa rin ako na makita yung sarili ko na ako yung nag play dun sa character ni Dave,” he said.

Start-Up PH is the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean series about different people in the world of start-up companies.

In a previous interview, Jeric revealed how he always wanted to work with Alden Richards, Bea Alonzo, and Yasmien Kurdi, and thanked GMA for giving him the chance both to star in the series and to work with his dream co-stars.

He admits though, that while it will be challenging to play his character, he's also very inspiring to play.

“Very inspirational si Davidson kasi ang start kasi talaga siya sa wala e. Parang from scratch mag-aaral siya, and then matututo siya, and then ayun, ipupursue niya talaga yung dream niya,” he said.

He also mentioned that viewers will need to watch out for the Three Sons Tech group from the series composed of him, Royce Cabrerra, and Boy2 Quizon, and revealed that the friendship they show in the series is real.

“Yung friendship nga na nabuo, parang nadala namin sa screen so yung mga eksena namin,” he said, adding that the scenes they did are a lot of fun.

“Puro kalokohan,” he said.

Jeric also took time to meet with her fans which became both a fan meet and a belated birthday celebration for the actor. He admitted that his fans played a big part in where the actor is now in his showbiz career and said that he missed them.

“Ito na yung time para makita ko uli sila, magkapagpasalamat personally,” he added.
