Matt Lozano admits experiencing separation anxiety after 'Voltes V: Legacy' taping

Voltes V: Legacy has just premiered on television on May 8, after Voltes V: Legacy - The Cinematic Experience premiered in theaters on April 18.

While viewers are finally experiencing the Philippine adaptation of the nostalgic Japanese series, the actors and team behind Voltes V: Legacy have been working on the local adaptation since 2019, so it's no surprise that the whole cast and crew have become very close.

Actor and singer Matt Lozano shared his experience as part of the main characters, Robert "Big Bert" Armstrong. During an internal interview with GMA, Matt said, "Ngayon, actually pinaguusapan naming lima ito, na nag-sa-start na kaming magkaroon ng separation anxiety kasi for almost three years halos araw-araw kaming magkasama [for the Voltes V: Legacy taping]. Nakakamiss 'yung mga bonding moments namin sa set mismo."

He added, "Kasi sa set, nagtutulungan talaga kami, kumbaga, kahit on and off kami, kung ano 'yung matutulong namin sa isa't isa, kinocontribute namin. Nakakamiss 'yung mga ganoong times na sabay sabay kaming lahat kumakain, nag-jajamming kami sa set. Pero thankful ako na kahit wala na kaming taping, nagkikita kita pa rin naman kami kasi nagkakaroon kami ng separation anxiety."

Currently, Matt is also gearing up for the release of his upcoming self-writter single "Liham" under GMA Music.
