Gabby Eigenmann joins 'Voltes V: Legacy' lead stars on their training

Gabby Eigenmann gave his fans and followers a sneak peek of his fight stunts for the upcoming GMA series Voltes V: Legacy.

On Instagram on Monday, March 14, the Kapuso actor shared a photo from his arnis training with his co-star Ysabel Ortega.

Gabby will play Commander Robinson, the father of Voltes 5 team's Jamie Robinson who pilots the Volt Lander (feet). Jamie Robinson will be portrayed by Ysabel.

"Meet the Robinsons.. training day..," Gabby said in the caption before adding #jamiexcommander #VoletsVLegacy.

Joining Gabby and Ysabel in their training are their fellow Voltes V: Legacy actors Miguel Tanfelix, Matt Lozano, and Radson Flores.

To show his support, Voltes V: Legacy director Mark Reyes dropped by for a visit at their fight rehearsals along with TPI director of operations and TekniKulay Graphic Design Studio creative technologist Teejay Del Rosario.

In an interview for 24 Oras, Gabby said he is a certified fanboy of Voltes V to the point that he'd save his money to collect playing cards that bore the robot's design. He shared, “Growing up talaga, 'Voltes V' fan ako. I used to collect cards, mga playing cards, at bumibili pa ako sa tindahan para lang mag-collect ng stickers!”
