GMA Pictures and Viva Films unveil new movie collab "Playtime"

GMA Pictures and Viva Films have unveiled a first look at its latest movie offering “Playtime” – a suspense-thriller starring Sanya Lopez, Coleen Garcia, Faye Lorenzo, and Xian Lim under the helm of esteemed director Mark Reyes.

The teaser video and teaser poster were revealed recently, piquing the interest of netizens.

In the said sneak peek, Xian’s character is seen meeting three different women (Sanya, Faye, and Coleen) on various occasions. The next scene sees these women running through a deep forest one night.

The final sequence teases moviegoers with an invitation: Halika, laro tayo!”

The official trailer of the film will be released on May 10.

This will be the first time Sanya and Xian will work together on the big screen.

In a previous interview, Sanya shared that her character in the movie is a stark contrast to her previous roles.

“Kung very Danaya or ‘First Lady’ ka, lagi kang sweet sa mga ginagawa mo, this time, may pagka-maldita. Siyempre, masungit sa mga boys,” she said.

Xian said his character is also something new to him.

“This would be the most intense role that I’ll be playing. Edgy, and at the same time, pushing my comfort zone, kasi hindi ko pa siya nagagawa ever,” he shared.

Coleen likewise expressed her excitement at being part of this latest film from GMA Pictures and Viva Films.

“Nakaka-excite talaga and I've been wanting to do this genre.”

Faye, on the other hand, shared that Xian has helped her in her scenes with him.

“Gentleman siya at inaalalayan ka niya especially kung ‘yung sa mga kissing scene namin,” she said.
