Mcoy Fundales's single 'Ang Forever Ko'y Ikaw' debuts strong on Spotify and iTunes

Mcoy Fundales is back to making music with "Ang Forever Ko'y Ikaw."
 

The single released under AltG Records is from the GMA rom-com series of the same title starring Camille Prats and Neil Ryan Sese.

Mcoy wrote a short official soundtrack for the series, and now, years later--he is releasing the full version of it through "Ang Forever Ko'y Ikaw."

During his online media conference, Mcoy shared, "[During] year 2018 may na-approve akong concept ng show for a morning rom-com series, Ang Forever Ko'y Ikaw starring Camille Prats and Neil Ryan Sese and since ako 'yung nag-conceptualize nung show, ako na rin 'yung gumawa nung theme song pero back then one stanza and one chorus [lang].

"During the pandemic nung nag-iisip ako ng followup song doon sa "Bakit Kita Hahabulin," inisip ko 'bakit hindi ko tapusin 'yung song na ito?'"

"Ang Forever Ko'y Ikaw" landed on the 9th spot of iTunes Philippines Top Songs, the only OPM song included in the chart, and was featured in Spotify New Music Friday playlist.
