Julian Trono, through a partnership between GMA Records and JU Entertainment Music & Contents, has flown to Korea to kick off a three-year plan for the GMA Artist Center teen star.

The first single ‘Wiki Me’, which is the first fruit of the collaboration, is set to be released digitally on February 15 and will be launched in Sunday All Stars on February 22.

Earlier today, Julian published a series of tweets, pertaining to his departure for Incheon – from packing, to leaving for the airport and boarding the plane.

The last of the series says, “Philippines, I’ll see you soon! Korea, let’s make it big!!!”

Before the trip, the Kapuso artist went through rigorous training under the Korean Pop (K-Pop) system, where he worked with Korean choreographers, a voice coach and a Korean composer.

One of his first activities in Korea would be a guesting in the music and variety program ‘Show Champion’ in MBC, a Korean free TV channel.

Thankful for the support of his Filipino fans, Julian posted a challenge on his Instagram account wherein fans can receive gifts and tokens from his Korean trip.

As of this writing, ‘Julia Trono Flies To Korea’ is trending on Twitter, even clinching the third spot in the nationwide trends.
