According to music news site, Agimat, the boys of Square one "were all born to musical families."

The members Kyle Jimenez (Vocals), JP Par (Lead Guitar) Von Domingo (Bass), and Michael Herradura (Drums) grew up listening to iconic rock bands like Metallica, Guns and Roses, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Dream Theater, Wolfgang, Kamikazee, Parokya ni Edgar, and Siakol just to name a few.
